Hi, I am 46 years old and love natural and simple. I have had wonderful experience living among an intentional community; discovering who I am. From working in a garden, with animals, cooking for a crowd, or even doing a friend’s laundry; I love the rich life that a true community provides. My favorite place to contribute is in the kitchen; yes, even scrubbing the pots :) In addition, I have administrative and hospitality giftings and would also like to develop my artistic abilities. I love to bead, sew, tie dye and other fabric art.

I lived in a community for over three years in which we were given Hebrew names. The name given to me after I had been with them for about a year was Mithka, it means sweetness. It was the name given to an encampment during the Exodus journey because of the sweet water there. The person who gave me the name saw me a person who brings sweetness into a bitter world. So someone knowing absolutly nothing about this now tagging me again is such confirmation. I was told also in the community that I am gifted in hospitality. I greatly desire to create a place of peace in a not so peacefull world; a gathering place.

I have imagined a place to do your laundry, or meet with friends that has a welcoming kind of back porch feel.
